17.09.19 His Majesty Audience Ceremony



His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin  Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Omar 'Ali  Saifuddien Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in separate audiences the Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Right Honourable Lord Justice of Appeal in England and Wales. The ceremonies took place at Istana Nurul Iman. His Majesty first received in audience His Excellency Oknha Datuk Doctor Othsman Hassan, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Kingdom of Cambodia, who is on a four day visit to the country. During the Audience ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest.

Accompanying His Excellency were His Excellency Doctor Sos Mousine, Member of Parliament; His Excellency Rofy Othsman, Member of Parliament; His Excellency Sman Manan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; and Mrs. Meach Palika, Charge de Affairs, Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. During his visit to the country, His Excellency will be visiting a number of Ministries to further discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in Islamic banking, halal industries and zakat management.

His Majesty then received in audience the Right Honourable Sir Peter Gross, Lord Justice of Appeal in England and Wales. Accompanying The Right Honourable Sir Peter Gross during the His Excellency Richard Lindsay, the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was The Right Honourable Dato Seri Paduka Steven Chong Wan Oon, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
