05.06.14 Consents To Receive Letters of Credence From Non-Resident Foreign Envoys


His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, this afternoon consented to receive Letters of Credence from nine Non-resident Foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam firstly consented to receive letters of credence from the High Commissioner of the Republic of Guyana residing in New Delhi, India, His Excellency Jairam Ronald Gajraj, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia residing in Jakarta, Indonesia, His Excellency Mourad Belhassen, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Marshall Islands residing in Tokyo, Japan, His Excellency Thomas D. Kijiner.

His Majesty then consented to receive letters of credence from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, His Excellency Dr. Alpha Diallo, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovak residing in Jakarta, Indonesia, His Excellency Michal Slivovic, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bosnia and Herzegovina residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malayisa, His Excellency Tarik Bukvic, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Libya residing in Jakarta, Indonesia, His Excellency Sadegh M.O Bensadegh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, His Excellency Salah Mohi Eldin Abdelmaged Elwassimy and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ecuador residing in Jakarta, Indonesia, His Excellency Rodrigo Guillermo Riofrio Machuca.

His Majesty then consented to receive in audience the NINE newly-appointed Non-resident Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. Also Present at the audience ceremony was the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Awang Lim Jock Seng.
