05.02.17 Prime Minister's Office Family Cycling Recreation 2017


The BandarKu Ceria programme held every Sunday continues to enliven the atmosphere of Bandar Seri Begawan. The Family Cycling Recreation 2017 organised by the Prime Minister's Office and departments under it was one of the activities held this yesterday at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien.

Among those participating in the Cycling Recreation event were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Retired Colonel Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Deputy Minister of Security and Media at the Prime Minister's Office and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. Also held was a minis exhibition organised by two departments under the Prime Minister's Office. The regulations and guidelines of cyclist safety are among the matters highlighted by the Traffic Control and Investigation Department, Royal Brunei Police Force. Meanwhile, Radio Television Brunei showcased the department's new products, especially RTB's transition to digital broadcast.

Also taking part in the family cycling recreation 2017 were Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Jammy bin Haji Muhammad Shah Al Islam, Commissioner of Police; Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Prime Minister's Office as well as cycling enthusiasts. The cycling recreation can instil a healthy lifestyle among the country's people in support of the healthy citizens’ initiative.
