Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents

​After the special performance, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam proceeded to the Get-Together ceremony with the Citizens and Residents of Belait District. Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brothers, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen; His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah; and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

 

The Get-Together Ceremony was an expression of the people's gratitude for the Monarch's care and attention. The participation of all walks of life showed the loyalty of the people to the Monarch. The strong unity of various agencies in enlivening the celebration is evident of loyalty in the Monarch's sovereignty.

 

Belait District also enjoys a holistic and high-quality education system. The establishment of private companies provides employment opportunities for locals, in addition to training the new generation with necessary skills.

 

The involvement of members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the British Garrison is a symbol of solidarity, loyalty to Monarch and country.

 

His Majesty and the Royal Family then proceeded to a Luncheon. His Majesty was then introduced to four individuals who made significant contributions to the nation. Doa selamat was read by Awang Mohd Shah bin Taip, Syariah Subordinate Court Judge, Belait District.

 

His Majesty's presence acts as a bond between the 'Monarch for the People and the People for the Monarch'.
