His Royal Highness the Crown Prince visited Temasek Polytechnic at Tampines Avenue ONE, Republic of Singapore, 12th September afternoon. Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Her Excellency Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations.
His Royal Highness first proceeded to the Temasek Polytechnics Aquaculture Innovation Centre, AIC and participated in laboratory activities such as Parasite Screening; Feed Palletizing and Feed Stability Testing. The Aquaculture Innovation Centre, AIC is Singapore's first Centre of Innovation, operating on a collaborative consortium model. The AIC supports and develops Small and Medium Enterprises in the aquaculture industry by enhancing farming productivity, identifying emerging technologies, and facilitating sustainable growth.
His Royal Highness continued the visit to the Centre for Research and Opportunities in Plant Science, CROPS, which aims to increase urban farming productivity and sustainability within two key areas namely Plant Biotechnology and Nutraceuticals.
His Royal Highness proceeded to visit the Temasek Gallery Lounge and participated in sample testing activities and conducted health checks on microorganisms and oysters.
Before concluding the visit, His Royal Highness participated in a group photograph session.
