Presents and Recieves Letters of Credence

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, presented Letters of Credence to Brunei Darussalam's newly-appointed envoys and received Letters of Credence from newly-appointed Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. The Ceremonies took place at Istana Nurul Iman on 21st April afternoon. His Majesty first presented Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Pengiran Hairani binti Pengiran Tajuddin, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York, United States; and Her Excellency Hajah Nor Huda binti Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Ahmad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

His Majesty then received Letters of Credence from His Excellency Sun Nahmkook, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea;

Her Excellency Naureen Ahsan, High Commissioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh;

His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia;

His Excellency Janbaz Khan; High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;

His Excellency Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan;

His Excellency Michael Neil Hoy, High Commissioner of Australia;

and His Excellency Chey Ratha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia.

His Majesty received in audience Brunei Darussalam's newly-appointed envoys, as well as newly-appointed Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. Present at the ceremonies were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamiddon bin Haji Ibrahim, Private and Confidential Secretary to His Majesty; Awang Haji Muhammad Fakhri bin Haji Mohd Taib, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office as Acting Grand Chamberlain.
