Upon the conclusion of the tour, His Royal Highness departed Singapore. Prior to departure from Singapore, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Awang Hamidon bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Abdul Hamid.
Present at Changi International Airport to bid farewell to His Royal Highness was Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State for Defence Zaqy Mohamad, serving as Singapore’s Minister-in-Attendance; and High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Yip Wei Kiat.
Also present was High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Singapore Noor Qamar binti Haji Sulaiman.
The Singapore-Brunei YLP continues to be an important platform that strengthens the longstanding relationship, deep trust, and close cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore. This year’s YLP delivered significant outcomes across a range of strategic areas that extend beyond high-level engagements.
