Unscheduled Visit to the Islamic Da'wah Centre


During the unscheduled visit to the Islamic Da'wah Centre yesterday morning, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. 

The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat was led by Pengiran Haji Haslin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. 

In a welcoming speech, the Minister of Religious Affairs among others highlighted the total number of Da'ie under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Brunei Islamic Religious Council as well as Da'ie and lecturers at the higher educational institutions and government departments. His Majesty then signed a commemorative parchment. His Majesty also took a closer look at the participants of the New Converts Basic Guidance Scheme Course. 

The Islamic Da'wah Centre continues to plan and implement various programmes to further strengthen the credibility and quality of da'wah talks and empower the Da'ie with effective da'wah methods.
