Pengiran Haji Jamra Weira Bin Pengiran Haji Petra was appointed to the post of Deputy Permanent Secretary (Power, IT and E-Government) at the Prime Minister's Office on the 5th August 2017 and later as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Energy) on the 24th November 2018. He was previously the Director of the Department of Electrical Services since June 2016. He joined the Government service in 1996.Pengiran Haji Jamra Weira holds a Bachelor Of Engineering with a first Class Honours in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow in 1995. He also holds a Masters of Science, in Power Electronics and Drives from the University of Birmingham in 1996.
