Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad was appointed as Permanent Secretary (Wawasan, Finance, and Cabinet) at the Prime Minister's Office in May 2020.
 
Prior to this appointment, she began her service at the Department of Economic Planning and Development and subsequently held several positions at the Ministry of Finance in various fields such as national budget management and performance and compliance.
 
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Property Valuation and Finance from the City University, London. She was later awarded a Master of Science degree in International Economics, Banking, and Finance from the University of Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom in 2006.​
