Launching of Patient Equipment Assistance for the Needy Project

The Patient Equipment Assistance Placement for the Needy Project carried out by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah is to ensure that the management of the charitable endowment of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah and the Royal Family is more focused, effective and efficient. The Project through the Medical Welfare Service, Ministry of Health and the Department of Medical Social Work, Pantai Jerudong Specialist Center, PJSC was launched on 9th July morning, at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal  Bolkiah Complex.

 

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu  Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Md Isham bin Haji Jaafar,  Minister of Health as Chairman of PJSC; AND Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, as Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Aid Review Committee of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

 

The event coincided with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, MOU between Yayasan, Medical Welfare Service and PJSC. Signing on behalf of Yayasan was Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment as Acting Managing Director of the Yayasan, while signing on behalf of the Medical Welfare Service and PJSC respectively were Awang Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Doctor Awang Haji Mazrul Adimin bin Haji Awang Besar, Executive Director of PJSC. Also held was the Launching Ceremony of the Patient Equipment Assistance Placement for the Needy Project for both agencies. The Assistance Placement will be centred in Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital and PJSC and covers patients nationwide. ​
