The Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Resident in the Brunei Muara District in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 78th Birthday Celebration will be held on Monday, the 29th of July. To ensure the smooth running of the ceremony, a full rehearsal was held on 24th July morning, at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Present to witness the rehearsal were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Co-Chairmen of the 78th Birthday celebration's national committee. A performance featuring a pop traditional concept divided into 3 segments will be performed by over 400 participants.
