Several important achievements were obtained during Brunei Darussalam's chairmanship of the ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters, ACCSM, including the preparation of a draft ASEAN Statement on Strengthening the Government's Strategy on Mental Health and Well-Being towards Achieving Work-Life Balance in the Public Sector as well as survey findings for the preparation of the ACCSM and ACCSM Plus Three 2026-2030 Working Plan. The matter was shared during a Farewell Dinner as the closing of the 22nd ACCSM and the 7th ACCSM Plus 3 Meeting. The event was held on 7th August night, at Tarindak D Seni, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Also present was His Excellency Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service of Cambodia as Deputy Chairman of ACCSM. The ceremony was enlivened with various cultural performances of the seven ethnic groups of Brunei, which reflected the rich cultural heritage of the Community in the country.
