The economic status of Brunei Darussalam and also the direction towards developing the national economy to achieve the Goal Three of Wawasan Brunei 2035 to become a Dynamic and Resilient Economy was among those shared during the Executive Dialogue Session with the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The session was among those included in the Civil Service Leadership Pipeline programmes organised by the Civil Service Institute, IPA, namely the Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers Cohort-31, the Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers Cohort-35 and the Young Executive Program Cohort-9 this year.
During the dialogue session, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah also touched on the role of technology and innovation, in efforts to develop and diversify the national economy. Also shared were the initiatives that are being carried out as well as future plans towards developing the economy. The session aimed to provide a comprehensive view of the latest activities in the country's economic development, and to inspire the participants to continue supporting and realising the country's 'Economic Blueprint', especially to strengthen the ability of future leaders to meet the ever-changing needs of the public, especially in the fast-growing digital era. The session was attended by 78 officers from Ministries and Government Departments.
