His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office witnessed a Jungle Warfare Demonstration as part of the Regional Jungle Warfare Symposium 2024. This year, the Royal Brunei Land Force is chairing the symposium for the first time alongside the British Forces Brunei, under the theme 'Enhancing Survivability Through Training and Technology', with the participation of 17 countries and 289 participants. The demonstration was held at Kargu Dam, Andulau Forest Reserve, Sungai Liang, Belait District. The arrival of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince at the Kargu Dam Landing Site aboard a Blackhawk S-70i helicopter of the Royal Brunei Air Force was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF and Her Excellency Alexandra McKenzie, British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.
His Royal Highness then proceeded to the demonstration area aboard the Light Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle. His Royal Highness received a Pesambah in the form of an Underwater Scooter. His Royal Highness then presented awards to the participants of the Jungle Warfare Skills Competition.
His Royal Highness witnessed the Sail Pass comprising 84 personnel and 19 Royal Brunei Land Force and Royal Brunei Navy assets. His Royal Highness then received a Pesambah from the Co-Chairman of the Regional Jungle Warfare Symposium 2024.
