His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office attended the Official Opening and Welcoming Gala of the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance, APICTA, Awards 2024. The event took place at a hotel in Jerudong, 4th December night. Upon arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.
APICTA 2024 is organised by the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, in partnership with the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam, AITI and InfoCom Federation Brunei, IFB.
The Minister of Transport and Infocommunications in a welcoming speech among other things said APICTA acts as a remarkable platform for recognising and celebrating outstanding achievements in the ICT sector.
His Royal Highness then officiated the launch of the APICTA Awards 2024.
The hosting of APICTA underlines the country's commitment in fostering innovation and technological excellence.
