His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah emphasises the need for strong leadership, combined with technical expertise, unwavering commitment and a united effort across the Brunei Shell Joint Venture and BGC to successfully navigate future challenges. His Majesty made the titah while chairing the 413th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad, BSP and the 191st Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad, BSM for the Fourth Quarter of the year 2024. The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office building on 10th December morning. Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, in their capacity as members of BSP and BSM Board of Directors.
The meeting commenced with a recitation of Doa and was attended by key stakeholders including Shareholder Directors representing the Government of His Majesty and Shell PLC, as well as members of the respective management from BSP and BSM. The meeting addressed critical areas such as operational performance, safety, financial, and manpower development, while charting BSP and BSM future strategic direction. It marks the end of the Brunei Shell Joint Venture and BGC Board Meetings for the Fourth Quarter of 2024.
