Following the Opening Ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games, His Majesty then left Harbin, the People's Republic of China. Prior to departure, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, State Mufti. Present at Harbin TaiPing International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty was Mr. Lan Shaomin, Chairman of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; His Excellency Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam; and His Excellency Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Pahlawan Retired Colonel Dato Paduka Haji Abdu'r Rahmani bin Dato Paduka Haji Basir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the People's Republic of China.
