Over 800 officer and staff of the Prime Minister's Office and teachers from the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs joined the Nightly Tadarus Ceremony throughout Ramadhan held at Istana Nurul Iman.
The Prime Minister's Office delegation were led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The ceremony began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a tazkirah or short talk on 'Fadhilat Surah Al-Fatihah' or the benefits of Surah Al-Fatihah.
