His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, on 28th July afternoon, attended the Nationwide Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the Diamond Wedding Anniversary of His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri. The ceremony was held at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong. Also in attendance was His Royal Highness's brother, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was greeted by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara; Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs AND Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence.
The Mass Fardu Maghrib Prayer was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.
Yang Berhormat Pehin also led the Mass Sunat Hajat prayer as well as reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran.
The Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony reflects the love of the country's citizens and residents towards Their Majesties.
