Morning Excursion


His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, 26th January morning, attended a Morning Excursion with His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, which was held at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, Bandar Seri Begawan. Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Also present were members of the delegation from Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam welcomed the arrival of His Excellency. Both leaders then began the Morning Excursion with a tour around Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas.

This was followed with the signing of a plaque and planting of “Ficus Burgundy" trees to commemorate the State Visit of the President of the Republic of Singapore to the country.

Following the Morning Excursion, His Majesty and His Excellency proceeded to Tarindak d'Seni to attend a Breakfast.
