His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Johor Darul Ta'azim on the occasion of His Majesty's proclamation as the 17th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
In the message, His Majesty expressed his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim on the occasion of His Majesty's proclamation as the 17th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia. Furthermore, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction for the warm and close relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, as well as the active bilateral cooperation covering various areas of mutual interest. His Majesty is confident that under His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong's leadership, the valuable ties will be further enhanced for the mutual benefit and prosperity of the people of both countries.
In ending the message, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha prayed that His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah and members of the Royal Family would always be in the best of health and under the protection of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
