MoU Signing Ceremony

Brunei Darussalam and the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Experience Exchange on Government Development and Modernization towards reaffirming their commitment to collaboration and progress in government development and modernization of both countries. The agreement which catalyses the formation of strategic partnerships through the Government Experience Exchange Program GEEP, was signed at ceremony in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Signing on behalf of His Majesty's government was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. While signing on behalf of the Government of the United Arab Emirates was His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.

The MoU among other things, underscored the commitment of Brunei Darussalam and the United Arab Emirates in advancing government progress, development and modernization, while simultaneously highlighting the shared vision of both countries in elevating governance and strengthening international collaboration.

Yang Berhormat the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy is in Dubai to attend the World Governments Summit 2024 from the 12th to 14th of February.
