A Doa Kesyukuran ceremony and mass fardhu asar prayer in conjunction with the 50th Birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office was held on 17th February afternoon. The ceremony organised by the Prime Minister's Office and the departments under it took place at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque.
Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister Of Defence. The reading of Ratib Al-Attas was led by Awang Md Syariff Wafiuddin bin Jemain, Imam of Ash-Shaliheen Mosque and the Special Doa or Supplication was recited by Awang Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran, Mosque Affairs Officer. The ceremony ended with the Fardu Asar prayer.
